Upgrading to Intel, recommendations for processor, motherboard and RAM please?

I meant this motherboard, it seems that it has been recently released and also it supports both DDR2 and DDR3

Is there a black PCB version of the Asus P5K Intel P35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard?

That'll be the difference. I assume it's there to compete with the Gigabyte P35-DS3R that also supports both memory standards. It's not listed on Overclockers yet, so not sure about a price, but if it costs more than the DS3R, I'd go with the Gigabyte board.
