Upgrading - Worth replacing PSU too?

I'm looking at upgrading my 9 year old 4790k system. I''ve pretty much narrowed it down to a i5 13500, MSI PRO B760-P Motherboard and 64GB ram. I'll be keeping my existing sata ssd and 2 hdds for now along with my GTX 1660ti for now. I currently have a Corsair CX600 PSU. Would this be good to use with the upgrade or is worth replacing it too?

Yea agree with above.

If it was a higher tier Corsair I'd say keep it, not necessarily saying there is anything wrong with the CX range, clearly not given the 9 years of service it's provided, but for a mid range PSU I'd say it's a good time to upgrade it.

Some will say it's Fine but for me it's not the best unit so I would change it being 9 years old, you can get a Corsair rm 650w for £80 .

Why the 13500 ?

Decent enough performance improvement for the price really. Is there anything different you'd recommend? I'm using a corsair 200r case if that makes any difference

Mine was used for £180
for £225 ish you can grab a used Ryzen 7700.
i think the 13500 was a super good gaming chip but remember is a 6core cpu at hart. and it pumps some heat out. i had a lock the max wattage and then it would still game at 70c ish(with a 360mm AIO) the 7600x/7700 will game at about 50c(with a 360mm AIO)
it was very good at 1080p the E cores helped it over come the common bottle neck

Is an AIO feasible in a 200R case? I'm currently using air cooling. Can't really move to a bigger case either due to space limitations
Given the chips you're looking at and the somewhat tight budget, I'd spend £15 on a Thermalright Assassin King (5 heatpipe version) or £30 on the Thermalright Phantom Spirit. They'd be ample, hell you could use the savings on a new case with better airflow. The 200R is pretty old now and didn't have the best cooling to begin with.

you can put a 230mm and maybe a 280mm in the roof. but a big air cooler i would think i best you would just have to rain in the power caps
i run it for a short time on a low profile cooler, im not saying it cant be cooled it can very easy but with max power caps it was very hot

i used a Thermalright AXP90-X53, but had to lock it to intel spec, still a solid gaming chip.

for 225 your could get a used 5800x3d or a new 5700x3d, both better than a 13500

£225 inc. stock cooler
Light gaming, photo processing, and occasional home video editing
I'd definitely consider the 12600K, the 12600KF especially has had big discounts (just over £150). It is slower than the 13500, but for a £70 saving it might be worth it.

I'd probably just keep it until you upgrade the graphics card, because the power usage of your new CPU/motherboard isn't likely to be much different.
