Now I'm currently using a AMD Phenom II x4.

The reason I'm upgrading is because my stupid motherboard wont let me overclock manually, using the MSI 870A-G54.

Now I also have xfire 6950's,

I want to upgrade my motherboard too and think I might use this opportunity to switch over to Intel.

Now just wondering is anyone has any suggestions as to what to get or as what to do in this situation.

My AMD is OC to 4.2 using CCC but I've been told that it's not worth using it.

Anyway, Thanks in advance.

There doesn't feel like any difference between 3.2 and 4.2 using ccc. I still get the same FPS on bf3 at max :S

But and just thinking about upgrading too because I'm going to uni next year and wont be able to do must with pc in regards to upgrading once i'm there. so kinda future proofing it too.

Thanks. yeah So far I have put my OS on one HDD and other apps. And my games onto a separate HDD, it deferentially improved loading times. Might get a SSD :D
