Upload problems

I have tried google but and am having no luck

I can download files absolutely fine but the moment I try to upload files to my website the connection times out at 8kb or 8192bytes. I cannot upload files any bigger than this This is bizarre beause I used to upload fine.

I have turned off firewalls and no change. And my web host confirmed this morning that he could happily upload, so no problems there.

Any ideas?

Can you upload via ftp to other sites? That would narrow down where the problem is.

yes I can. My host provider, www.hostsave.com, is playing games
