Binged also, very funny start and nice concept it did become kinda a romantic 'almost' comedy in the middle and end though. It also had a very quick tone change though from the opening episode or pilot we had slap stick comedy and boobs and then its like a Woman wrote the rest of the season.

Regardless its still 100% worth the binge session.

Season 2 is currently being written, director had already pitched 2 seasons back in 2015 so was well-prepared, he did go on to say will see how it goes with current crisis.

Just watched the first episode - better than I was expecting it to be. Not sure if it can keep it up over a whole season but episode 1 was good escapism and I like the attention and/or nods to little tech details which are usually completely unconvincing (aside from the data torrent which makes little sense).

I watched the episodes in fairly quick succession. I enjoyed it as warm hearted entertainment that featured mainly likeable characters, but felt that the tone of the last two episodes changed and worse for it.

Does it get better after the first episode? I can't remember laughing at anything  In fact, I felt a bit frustrated with it all.

They have cool holographic mobile phones, yet 27" curved monitors?

The scene in the hospital was ridiculous, all that technology and they couldn't save a man who was clearly not going to die.

In fact, the main character came across as a bit of a wet lettuce. Grow some damn balls man. Maybe that's why they killed him :D

Lakeview being paradise........looks like my kind of hell.

I don't think you will enjoy the rest of it. (Although some of your criticisms, though not all, are addressed later in the series).

You played the "Netflix 10 minute" game (although you appear to have played for 30 minutes).
You aren't going to enjoy it, the numerous people who did won't be able to convince you otherwise - walk away.

Fair enough, I liked the concept but if it gets no better I'll find something else to watch.

I didnt like it at first but by the 2nd episode I thought I would give it a chance and it got better. Although I think it got a bit confusing over whether it wanted to be a romantic comedy or a drama about company wrong doing/company espionage but then you get a horror/gory aspect
with the exploding head !
which was very funny. I look forward to season 2 though.

You find out later in the story why he was not "saved" but died - without giving any spoilers.

mmmm, you see now I quite fancy carrying on with it

Thought the funeral episode was quite good and also liked the relation (cousin?) who was investigating his death but then she
died in a nasty way which a) didnt see coming and b) hated as I liked her character

I'm struggling a bit with season 2 so far - not that it is bad - it just doesn't have the novelty of the first time around. But I don't think I've been quite in the mood for it either.

We just watched the first episode and found the exact same. Does it get any better?

I enjoyed the second series as well but it was too short. I only saw this thread yesterday and I've finished it already.
