UPS collection no receipt?

Every UPS package i've sent there's been a receipt to print off when printing the shipping label. It had a space for the driver to sign.

Apparently thats what UPS do, message from Interparcel:

Thank you for contacting Interparcel regarding your order number above.

I have looked into this and I can see that this item has now been delivered. Please be advise UPS do not leave any collection paperwork as it updates on the system and is scanned straight away.

It should also of read

but whatever

All other couriers I have used in the past leave paperwork, fair enough if they scan it but in future I won't use UPS if I have no way of proving that a package ever left my possesion.

I had a parcel collected by UPS 2 weeks ago and got a receipt

ive always had receipts aswell in the form of a peel off sticker.

they have always put one part of the sticker on the box and gave me the other half

I had UPS actually collect a laptop today to return to Sony and was left a receipt - the rest of the A4 paper which had Sony's address on it.

Seems to be hit and miss, some are given them and like you and myself and others were not.
