I'd like to buy a good quality UPS device to protect 2 computers. My budget is around £200, but might spend more if the UPS device offers that much better protection.

Which model do you recommend? Thanks for any help.

I hope this is the right forum for this question. I could not see an appropriate subsection to post in, so general hardware seemed right.

Use a power meter like the one below to measure the power consumption of each of your pc.

Make sure you load the pc up when taking the reading or the power requirement can be approximated by giving the specs of each pc.

Hi,

thanks for the reply. I don't have a power meter.

The specs of my pcs are:

PC one: Asus sabertooth p67, intel 2500k, 560Ti graphics card, thermaltake frio cooler, 8gm corsair ram, silverstone FT02B case (3x180mm fans), 1TB HDD, CD/RW drive and a corsair 850 psu.

PC two: Asus P5KC, intel 6750, amd 4850 graphics card, arctic cooling freezer 7 pro cooler, 4gb corsair ram, akasa eclipse-62 case (2x120mm fans), 1TB HDD, CD/RW drive and a seasonic 600w psu.

I'd be grateful for an estimate of the likely power draw.
