Why is this a desperate act ? This was always a very normal thing to happen with graphics cards and other pc parts where prices would come down and promotions would be added later too.. It's just Nvidia's selling tactics of recent times that has ruined this normal behaviour for customers.

Never seen 2 year old cards still sell for the same price or more than they came out at before, but again new world and new sheep to sell to that didn't either live in the time when prices would come down or such promotions would happen, 2 year old cards of the past would have ended up in the bargain bins at most pc stores of the past.

Not sure how the offer is meant to work on this one. I got the 7800XT for one of our PC's today but seems only ONE of the codes given works. I have the option for two of the four games (honestly I really don't want ANY of them) but really want a copy of Space Marine 2 but the code for that just gives an error saying I don't have any compatible hardware installed?? Obviously, I've submitted a ticket to Overclockers customer support but I was hoping this card purchase would save me having to spend £55 buying the game!

Yeah @MCFC_ANDY a competitor in the UK looks to have it like you say;

Someone somewhere is making boo-boo's! Would make sense to me that SM2 would be kept for the higher end cards like the GRE upwards.

Response from my query to Overclockers customer service indicates no issue with the 7800 being included and I should have Space Marine 2 etc with the only query being "did I have the card installed" which obviously I do. I've sent proof of it being installed (screen capture of hardware details on Adrenalin).

Waiting on further update.
