Hi,

I've noticed the past week with driving rain against my front door that it's leaking inside, spent ages trying to narrow this down thinking it was the external seals but it appears to be the weep holes in the bottom of the frame.

See pic below, but basically those two drain holes are draining straight under the inside skirting board...

What's the best fix for this? The door does not have a "weather bar/board", which apparently would prevent this - can these be retrofitted/glued onto UPVC?

Alternatively google also suggests 'leak seals'? If I was to fit a weather bar, that would work if water is getting into the frame at the bottom but not around the door edges.

What's the best approach? Thanks :)

There should be corresponding holes on the outside of the door covered by these.

If there are holes on the outside then what I would try and do is drill a few small holes in the door frame around the affected area and fire in a little upvc door sealant to try to seal any leaks on that left hand side. You could remove the glass to see if you can see anything.
