URGENT: Advance Passenger Information System (APIS)

Hi Folks!

Basically I am off to Vegas in a couple of days. Everything is booked.

I have filled out the ESTA form (about a month ago, got an approval online for that).

I have also heard about Advance Passenger Information System, which I am suposed to fill in too? We are flying with Continental Airlines and I can't seem to find an online form for doing this?

We booked through Expedia, will thhey have supplied the required data already?

Or do Continental Airlines sort this out during checkin?

If anyone can help that would be great.

I believe this is done by the airline. Not 100% sure though.

I think I got an e-mail about this last time I went to India. They wanted me to call up their local office and confirm some details. Took about two minutes. That was with Jet Airways. No idea if it differs from airline to airline.

Seems rather difficult to find out about all this. I think the Airline should sort this out, but I just want to know if I have to do this in advace etc.

You usually provide the information at check in. They'll need name/passport number/dob/address of first night in the US.

fill the API in on airline website

you have sorted ESTA so all ok

Weather had warmed up just in time too.

With american airlines it is usually completed at check-in. It is mostly European airlines who allow you to do it over the internet.
