urgent donations needed please . . .

as some of you may know - we are off to India in a couple of weeks - working in an Orphanage for 3 weeks with abandoned children!!!

We are in the middle of packing or suitcases - BA has given us an allowance of 7 x 23KG bags - and we are still looking for donations to help fill them up!

Some of our fellow OCUK'ers have been very generous and we would welcome any other help/donations that you could give - our deadline is the 25.01.09!

PLEASE REMEMBER - WE DO NOT WANT YOU TO BUY ANYTHING - what we are after is what you may have at home that you have never/hardly used - books - board games especially - toys - musical instruments etc.

Please send them to our shop if you can - your help is much appreciated.

Sadly I just donated a load of my old stuff to charity shop last week.

I'l have a look about when i get home tonight but i think i got rid of most of my old stuff
 
I will donate something if the Indians stop spending money on nukes and start looking after their ever burgeoning populace.

A tenner would be great - we are going out at the weekend to buy some games/puzzles etc and your tenner would help a lot - MUCH appreciated!

OR

What job do you do - maybe you could DO something that would help them out?!?!?!

We did say that we didnt want people to spend any money ideally!

As a person of Indian origin (born and brought up in the UK - therefore BRITISH) I promise NOT to spend any of my money (apart from the tax as I dont have any control of that) making/building/designing/testing nukes - I will also actively encourage any Indians I meet to do the same with theirs - is that ok?

I live in prague so it would cost too much to post anything out to you, as to job I am a student so not much I can do to help Unless someone wants me to put up a satellite dish or sell them an flat screen TV.

EDIT, forgot to say I am going to india in a couple of weeks.

Can I just say I wish you the very best of luck in your journey. I would love to do something like that but cannot since it would really be too heartbreaking for me and I'd end up getting done for child smuggling like those crazy belgies did recently. :(

No problem.

I am going to be in ahmedabad for a few days, Bhuj and mumbai. Should be fun as I have not been since 92
