Basically on Saturday I boguht some alloy wheels for a ridiculous low price off a car dealers forum. £250 via bank transfer into his account.

He said hes sent them and I should have them for Monday Afternoon.

Basically someone on another forum im on said he maybe a conman under investigation and that should provide the other forums with his details.

Basically im wondering where I stand if he is a conman? Have I basically lost that money forever? :(

Should I go to my bank first thing to try and stop the transaction or should I wait till the afternoon and see if they do arrive?

It seems really odd because hes on the forum selling more stuff and posting like any other another person :confused:

Nop but aswell as the wheels hes selling a coupe of SETS of Angel eye headlights and a Nintendo Wii :confused:

Guess I have too much faith in humanity and that there a decent truthworthy people in the world :(

God im a dick...What do you think he sees how much money he can make before he gets caught and then moves the moeny or sumemt?

I mean I have his account number and sort code...is that not anything valuable? Surely need some valid details to get up an account?

Well im with Barclays and hes Natwest apprently (thats what he said anywayS)

Also I sent the money on saturday at 6pm so does that mean 3 days from then or from monday?

Also will it go through on the morning or can I wait till the afternoon to make sure they dont arrive? and then if they dont I can go down to the bank and cause havoc...?

They said they cant stop the payment as it left my bank instantly...Oh well seems ive been done. Lesson leant.

I wouldnt have a clue what to sent to him if the items didnt come other than abuse..

Anyone help me what to put?

Means that £250 was gonna go on a GTX280 and my dad was gonna get my 8800GTS 512...Oh well looks like our dad will have to settle for something abit less :(

Is it possible for me to ring up Parcel Force, tell them at destination of a package and they would tell me if its even there?
