So I just loosed the CPU cooler, and now the duel channel memory works! it must have been too tight before and was interfering with the 2 RAM slots closest too it

Jesus christ bro it doesn't work like that. You have some learning to do. A2 B2 is the way to do it. If you put them both in the same channel you are running single channel.
The fact that you think you are looking at conflicting information (you aren't) is disturbing and you really shouldn't be building a PC if you don't understand things like this.

Putting aside your tone, you are right, there is no contradiction and I should have thought things through (the fact it only worked for the OP in 3 and 4 and that I was tired, led me to overlook that and see a contradiction where there was none). Thank you.

As usual, you make a mountain out of a molehill when it comes to others, and ignored that I recommended slots 2 and 4 for Dual Channel. But when you spec non-SLI motherboards for SLI, and state that all AM4 motherboards can overclock, and the mistake is pointed out to you without jibing, you disappear from that thread, and don't acknowledge or thank the correction.

I would love to know what your problem is. In any case, I wish you well overcoming it. It can't be nice living with that 24 hrs a day, every day.

I'm mentally fluid. Did you just assume my mental illness?

Seriously though, I really don't know what my problem is. I'm a recluse and I live in front of my PC and sometimes I use it to vent my frustrations with the outside world.

At the time I wrote the post in question, somebody had just yelled at me and it was grinding my gears.

One day Windows will come with a douche-bag filter and my words will come accross much more gently

No. Merely seen the symptom - pedantry. Not the problem that causes it. But fair to say we can all struggle with that, sometimes more, sometimes less. And if not that then it'll be something else for others.

I can sympathize with that. How about filtering yourself (prevent the crap you receive from being passed onto others). It's more rewarding, imo. The crap doesn't have a chance to enter so deep.
