I use my computer for gaming, I have a GTX 660ti but is my processor good to match it? AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six-Core Processor .. Or should I buy an i5/i7?

In my opinion i would go i5/i7 but obviously i7 is better than an i5 , just depends on how much youre willing to spend

Obviously a I5 or I7 would be better, but if it plays your games at a decent framerate then why bother.

No don't bother upgrading. You won't be noticing any difference and what difference you gain won't be worth the outlay of a new motherboard and cpu to go intel. Stick with what you have.

Your cpu is fine for that gpu, you could always overclock it a bit if you feel it holds you back though.
