hey guys just put in my old gtx260 that doesnt give a signal either, i dont think its the psu as my fans boot up cpu fans work etc, i have the asus iv formula motherboard should i press reset button dont have any clue to whats going on

i have tried different slots so, probably the motherboard has fuked up, just got it today, but thing is my overclock buttons on board light up, lights come on as well cpu fan spins, so does card fan

Go to basics.

PSU, Motherbaord, 1 stick of RAM, HDD and GPU in primary slot.

Make sure all the power leads are in properly.

Reset the motherboard (turn off all overclocks).

If it doesnt boot up test another stick of RAM, if that doesnt work then its either your Motherboard or CPU.

right i tried all the slots with new card and old card, i have not got anywhere with it, i think it may be my motherboard, i have got 1 fan turning on my cpu cooler now

if it is my motherboard, why do i get lights on it etc, i pluged in all cables i.e power button works reset button works, cpu fans work etc, but just not getting any signal from cards

I had this problem when I bought an MSI mobo and some DDR3, RMA'd the board but it was in fact the ram that was the problem. If you have more than one ram stick then test the sticks individually and in different slots.

hey guys looked at motherboard, where the 24atx connector is it says cpu, dram, gpu, boot
it goes to cpu then it stops at dram with a red light showing
