URGENT: Internet problem

Reinstalled my wireless network drivers. Reboot, and connect to network fine. Load up Internet Explorer, page not found - it was working fine before this.

Check IP settings, IP assigned and connected to router. I can connect to my router fine and access the settings pages - just not connect to any websites. :confused::eek:

Help please!

is also correct. it is often a DNS error. I find that turning the modem of from the socket, and then waiting around 30 seconds works for me.

The read out from my computer which works matches that of the broken one.

Have reset my router and modem, and no firewall or antivirus is installed.
 
Okay, just to complicate matters...the laptop DOES connect using a WIRED connection.

It DOESN'T connect using a WIRLELESS connection.

Help! :mad::(
 
Do the easy things first.

Turn the router off and then on.

Verify that the wireless is turned on on the router.

Disconnect from the wireless on the laptop, and reconnect..
 
Check also that the settings for your wireless card are such that it'll pick up its address and gateway settings via DHCP and not static... if they're already set that way, try setting them to suitable static settings and see if that works?
 
Router has been reset, and another wireless machine is able to connect to the internet fine.

Wireless is also on.

IP settings are automatic via DHCP.
