A nasty looking minefield
Hello I found a copy of Photshop CS2 lying around the place. Must have got it free from a magazine.

Anyway. I have been given a task to do, but im not sure its even possible.

I have this magazine cover to do, which includes a montage of pictures. The person asking me has requested that I change the pictures so they employ an icy theme.

Eg I have some specific mountains. Can I edit them to look snowy??

cheers

You could quite easily modify the colour balance within the pictures, either editing the hue/saturation or by desaturating it then colourizing it. Would that help?

You could if, your looking to make them all covered in snow mess around with the curves tool.
It draws a line from the darkest contrasts to the lightest. If you change the top end which is the light contrasts then you may be able to increase it enough to look like snow.
If you go onto youtube and enter cs2 you should see they have lots of tutorials on the subject.
Im just learning it myself so i hope it helps.
