URGENT: really need some packaging supplies

why would you package more packaging around the package ?

it got to you safely in the retail box so why wouldnt it get to your friend ?

No! the retail box was placed inside a box for delivery to me from the online store that I ordered from, it came as 2 unit's per box.

brown paper. to be fair i wouldnt even bother with that though. id just stick big labels on it , one with where its going and one with sender details

who cares if it looks amateurish?, you're sending it to your friend, its not like you are a company and sending it to a customer.

Actually it's not so much amateurish I am worried about, that was a bad choice of a word to use. It's more to do with the courier, I just read the FAQ at interparcel and they said don't use lot's of tape and seal the packaging in many places which is what I have done. They said to use boxes, I haven't.

A while ago I bought a DVD player from a UK store for delivery to my house here in the UK. It came from a courier service I don't know which one. The DVD didn't come packed in any wrapping or box packaging. It was delivered to me in just it's original manufacturers box like you would see in any shop. Do you know of any courier services that can do that for me, that way I wouldn't have to wrap it?

But I am worried about doing this, as it's been known that the delivery man would steal a parcel or someone else would steal it. I know you can then use the insurance to get your money back. But when a package is able to be seen by someone and if it's a really cool product they may just steal it, especially if the item is a limited edition or a discontinued product.

Why not just stick it up the old 'arris and bounce all the way to Italia?

Seriously, does anyone think this character is for real? I call shenanigans! Somehow, this character can write a full novel and have it ready for publishing within a few weeks yet, somehow they can't even post a parcel without starting numerous threads asking for help. By the time this person figures out how to actually post something they won't need to, Continental Drift will have bought Italy to within walking distance, or at least a short hop on a pogo stick.

Then there's all the threads asking how to get this for free, how to get that for free and if you help me I'll send you a free gold plated Learjet with a free platinum PS3 inside!

If this person is for real, then I'll happily lay odds on their IP address coming back to Broadmoor!

on a more serious note....why dont u put the bubble wrap inside the box of the pogo stick.
that way even if the box is knocked about...the stick wont be harmed and you can easily cover the box with brown paper and put whatever labels you want to on the brown paper .

there is no need for bubble wrap inside the box as the pogo stick is already very sturdy and not able to move around inside the box, it's completely secure.
