Meh, being sprayed by birdshot is nothing. It happens to us a lot at the range on Saturdays. The way the place is laid out, if the wind is in a certain direction and they're shooting out of a particular trap we often get shot raining down on us.

I was under the impression that shot falls at a lower rate than it exits a gun - probably friction and all that malarkey.
