USB 3.0 64GB ?

I am looking to buy 2 USB 3.0 64GB flash drives
Which make and model is the fastest data transfer then what I am using at the moment

I am using PNY 64GB 3.0 data transfer , read / write speed

Write Speed: up to 20MB/s (on 3.0 port)
Read Speed: up to 80MB/s (on 3.0 port)

SanDisk Extreme 64 GB 120MB/s + write speeds...around £35-40

Actually the SanDisk Cruzer Extreme has speeds Up to 245MB/s read speed and up to 190MB/s write speed. can be had for £25.

You probably don't need to buy 2 fastest 64GB USB 3.0 sticks.

For about same price as 2 64GB USB 3.0 stick, you can buy 128GB SanDisk Cruzer Extreme Pro USB 3.0 stick for £79 that has the fastest data transfer ever with incredible 260MB per sec read and write.

not the fastest but had a 32 gig model for the past 2 years and has been reliable so bought another. but as the others have said - those are the fastest

Your gonna need a fast drive to to write from!

I bought a mega fast portable ssd and only got ~150MB write speed max seq from a Samsung 830 ssd.

Aw well I take that back, thought 128GB SanDisk Cruzer Extreme Pro USB 3.0 has fastest transfer but now I found Corsair Flash Voyager GTX USB 3.0 128GB is actually the world fastest USB stick with SSD controller capable to provide data transfer rate of 450MB p/s read and 360MB p/s write. :eek:

Only cost a bit more than 128GB SanDisk Cruzer Extreme Pro USB 3.0.

Well guess you got unlucky bought a crap enclosure with controller gave poor performance. What is your enclosure brand and model?

Been searched USB 3.0 enclosures and read customer reviews, StarTech 2.5-inch SuperSpeed USB 3.0 SSD SATA Hard Drive Enclosure did bit better than your with 200MB/s transfer rate but found very interesting product Inateck 2.5 Inch USB 3.0 Hard Drive Disk HDD Aluminum External Enclosure tested done with Samsung 840 EVO SSD provided impressive 426.2 MB/s read and 401.4 MB/s write, one of customer review ran benchmark test on Samsung 840 EVO 1TB in Inateck enclosure got 450MB/s read and write.
