USB 3.0 to SSD

Has anyone got a Sata III SSD connected to a USB 3.0 port?

If so could any one give me some read / write figures?

Looking to put some Hyper-V vms on an external USB 3.0 SSD and wanted to know what performance I would be looking at over USB 3.0 on an SSD.

I need at minimum around 200mb read and about the same write performance on the external disk.

I know usb 3.0 has theoretical speed of 5.0Gbps but wanted to know read world figures.

Also what enclosures are people using?

USB 3 trounces 2 but eSATA is still the best way to go to maximise performance with an SSD. I'd imagine that IOPS results would show a huge difference too as there's more latency.
