Aparently its coming out soon, anyone know when, im after a new mobo and would like it with 3.0 usb if it comes out in next 2 weeks?

Firewire 800 or e-sata would be a better idea.

I meant for backup devices (I'm thinking about it a lot atm, so it was at the tip of my tongue lol!)

How many of your USB devices currently connected to your computer would make use of the USB 3.0 bandwidth though? It's like PCI-Express, how many devices do we have that use PCI-Express apart from graphics cards?

I can't think of anything that would benefit from it.

No kind of flash memory exceeds usb2.0 speeds and neither does any type of portable hard drive.
