USB 3 2.5inch enclosure

looking at getting a Evo-Labs 2.5" USB3.0 SATA SLIM HDD ENCLOSURE (E-25M093S). thing is, my HDD will probs only be a 5400rpm drive so will this still be quicker than a USB 2 enclosure?
also it states in their specs :

Transfer Rate: 5Gbps(USB3.0), 480Mbps(USB2.0), 12Mbps(USB1.1)

what would be the average speed for say a 600mb file?

As a rule of thumb USB2 is about 30MB/s, USB3 will be limited by the drive so probably about 60-80Mb/s.

ok thanks for that, still a reasonable increase for the price (£4.99 for usb2 £5.25 for usb3) will only really be used for backups so wont be a lot, but if i can save a bit of time then always helps
