USB 3's slow down if USB 2 devices attached?

Anyone know? Have a little project and i'll get a USB 2 hub if adding these devices would slow down the USB 3 I bought for it but i'm hoping thats not needed.

Dont quite understand what your asking? You have a USB 3 device that you want to slow to USB 2? The USB 3 will run fine off a USB 2 Motherboard, will just run slower (If the device truely runs past a USB 2 speed). Not sure how much USB3 stuff is out there that will actually surpase USB2 speeds atm?
