Hi all

I'm trying to find an adapter to allow me to plug in a USB pendrive thingy into my WDTV Live. The problem I have is that the Live is tucked away in my equipment unit and there is not much room either side, certainly not enough to a pen drive to be sticking out.

Does anyone know of a USB adapter (standard USB size, not mini USB) that will stick out as little as possible, ideally not more than 10mm or so. and allow me to plugin my pendrive. Ideally a nice short little lead would be good but I can't seem to find anything

Any help much appreciated.

Well, I was thining of something along those lines (shald have put/lead after where I put USB adapter) but the male plug needs to be smaller really cos there really is not much space for it, Was hoping I might be able to find something with the plug at right angles to the lead, do you know of any such thing?

Unfortunately not...however a usb cable extender like the one I posted above is flexible so should provide enough give to allow for some room. Due to the nature of the connection type, it's probably the best you could do.

You could always wittle away the plug moulding if needed too . . . . Just be careful you do not cut through the wires (Or your thumb!)
