USB Cabling

Cannot see a suitable heading for my query so stuck it in general.

Looking to make up my own USB to mini USB cables purely to sleeve them how I want and have the connectors and a pinout guide. All I need is the cabling can anyone advise on that? What exactly do I need and where to get it?

I picked up the USB and micro USB connectors on Ebay for around a fiver so with the cable I can hopefully make up my own cables. The last one I bought sleeved for my KB was £18 so this is got a cheaper option.

Strip the current sleeve off and sleeve over the wires (MDPC comes to mind)?

You get me wrong, I am delighted with the sleeving so I wish to do it on my other keyboards.
