Is it possible to charge a usb mp3 player without using a desktop or laptop?.
I have a usb mp3 player which only has usb connection that is how you recharge the device. But I don't want to lag around a laptop with me to charge the mp3 player.
I tried connecting it to a powered usb port hub but with no luck. Anyone have any idea of how to charge it or do i need to buy another mp3 player that uses batteries as its power source?
Thanks in advance guys

I have a mains to USB adapter - basically like a single port USB hub, but only supplies the power. I use it to charge phones, mp3, pda - all work fine.

It was originally bought as part of a kit for allowing general charging of a phone and came with a car power socket to USB charger as well (not bad for a tenner)

You could just get a usb mains adaptor like this:

Can be had from the 'bay or some electrical stores for less than a tenner.
