usb device not recognised

not sure if in right forum. I installed a ssd drive into my laptop a couple of weeks ago and used the initial hdd as a second drive on my m17rx. i have recently started getting the above message which goes on to say one of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognise it even tho i have no usb devices attached. Could be this be down to the ssd or a malfunction on laptop as i have warranty let till 2/2/13.

Sounds like you damaged or unplugged an internal usb cable/header when you changed drives. That's all we can assume given the information provided.
