USB Encryption

Hi,

I'm after a program that sits on the USB stick and can be run from there to 'unlock the stick after username / password' something like a password request for the stick.

Any ideas?

Theres a shareware program called folderlock

Does the truecrupt program sit on the device itself?

I was looking at Truecrypt but couldn't see any way to do what I want.

I believe that TC installs on the PC and then sits there rather than being mobile. It's to transfer my stuff to and from work you see.

You need to use the traveler disk setup in the tools menu, I use this on one of my portable hdd works perfectly

Thats not what I want. The requirements are in the OP.

I have thousands of files, documents, etc. which I want to encrypt. Not zip. I dont want to have to rearchive everything when a word document changes. On the fly encryption is a better solution for me and I'm sure there are programs out there that do it.

Just looking for recommendations.

I may have a look at that later. At the moment TC seems to be doing what I want (just testing it at the mo - reformatting a 16GB memory stick so takes a while).
