I went to use my USB today and it has decided to partition itself, thought i'd format it, still being annoying. I have had a google and tried something in Command Prompt but It didn't work.

It's Disk 2.

Help please?

are you able to delete the other 2 partitions? can see most of the space s sitting unallocated.

delete the new volume and the 99mb volume partitions and then you should see it appearing as one unallocated space, create a new partition and should be good

I've tried to delete the new volume, allocate the big bit, format to FAT and NTFS. Still no nothing. I thought it was going to be as easy as that too!

open up command prompt and type disk part

after type list disk and make a note of which one is the USB stick

then type select disk 1 (or what ever the USB is numbered)

once selected type clean

this should remove all partitions and give you one unallocated space for the USB stick, close down and create a simple volume through disk management

just tested on my USB stick here and worked
