I've got an Asrock P4i65G that won't boot when it has a front panel header connected to USB7/8. Any idea what potentially could be causing such a problem?
It's a block unit connector, so there are only two ways round it will fit and both cause the problem. Could it be that the connector doesn't have the same layout as the board?
I had that problem with my old Antec case, they had wired the usb differently, so i took it apart and re-wired, it varies on the case, because i believe the boards adhere to a usb standard, where as the case pins do not, if thats correct. Was ages ago, so can't remember the exact details, but it did require re-wiring.
