usb headset logitech 350 @ cs:source

I got this headset two days ago, now it seems to be just fine but when I play cs:source if someone is walking to my left I hear his footsteps on the right earphone, same applys to when someone is walking to my right I will hear his footsteps on the left earphone.

I know it's not a problem in the headset as It's working just fine in other games / music.

I tried everything I thought of in the settings within cs:s but no luck so far.

any help appreciated!!

Your headphones are on backwards?

/end sarcasm.

Have you tried the OS control panel? You could change the location of the speakers on mine, which is just onboard sound.

Kind of weird that it is just CS:S.

Hope you get it sorted.

Thing is with exactly the same settings my speakers are doing good in css.

What can it be :confused:
