USB hub

Ever since I bought the copperhead and eclipse, i'm all out of USB slots for all my other stuff so thought it was best to get a hub

Any advice on which is a good one would be much appreciated

Not too many slots needed, an extra 3 or 4 should be ample.

I use a USB 2 self powered hub, got it from a computer fair for about £8, works fine so i suppose any will do, Belkin do some good self powered ones, my sisters got a Belkin one with 4 USB ports, had it a couple of years now and still going great, best to get a self powered one to, so your not pulling all the power from your boards USB's.

Ive been looking around on here as i thought these guys did them, but i can't find any, im sure they did though.

They do do them, it's in components and networking cards, took me a lil time to find em but I did ^_^

Ahh so thats where they hid them, yeah the Belkin is a good one, be ideal.

i wsa just about to start a thread about USB hubs but ill use this one if you dont mind Sudden.

Any way i only hav USB 1.1 on my crappy pc and i was wondering if there is any way that i could get USB2.0 without ungrading my mobo. Im not sure about them addin USB2.0 cards because my PSU is something like 200watt or 250 watt. I have my broadband modem in a USB1.1 adn as this thread says i get these crappy message now and agian Insufficient USB bandwidth and i think it might be because i have my modem in a USB2.0

So basically what im asking is can i attach say a USB2.0 hub into a USB1.1 and it will run at 2.0 speeds?

Not too sure about it, but I don't think it will. The PCI card with 2.0 slots though, will work.
