Just done it then, went straight to a black screen again, not sure whether it might be my ****** laptop hard drive that might be causing a error when going into setup or something..
What about your laptop. The reason i askis because the iso you created from the disc may be corrupted. Open the file in Magiciso and see if all the files are visible.
Yes, every file is there that is in the disc, Just checked it then, not sure what the hell is going on but before it boots into setup (which is what normally happens) the USB will like turn itself off aswell as the keyboard.
So you have the iso and my method didn't work. The very method you want, i.e, using those switches in the command line extracts the ISO fully to the USB stick?
Out of interest, you don't have USB 3 ports do you?
