USB Issue

When i plug my usb in, sometimes the computer decides to restart itself, this is only when i insert the USB stick into the front port...
heres the spec if needed

The front USB port cable is definitely in the correct socket on the motherboard?
Just a quick check eliminating any wiring issues

Yeah

It does recognise it most times....just sometimes restarts

Is the usb port loose?Or maybe check the cables at the back of the port,and the connections at the mobo end.

Is it both usb ports on the front panel,or just one of them?

Do you have any other OS's you could use to test this issue?

It seems to be just the one port.

It does it on more than this OS.

The cables aren't loose, once its in, and doesnt shut down, you can give it a good wiggle, and it doesnt do anything.

Well,if all the cables are secure,and its only happening on that 1 port,it would suggest that its the port that is faulty...maybe contact CM and see if they will replace the front usb panel...and if that fails,they do have a parts website.
