Hi Guys,
I am looking at moving back to Intel and upgrading my Phenom 955 with i7-4770K and Asus Maximus VI Hero. Hopefully this will be quite a leap forwards for me.
But I am concerned about this USB Chipset Issue. I have a 64 USB stick permenantly attached and software backing up every hour to that stick. So in a fire I just take that and all my stuff is protected. So an issue that allows the USB stick to not be recognised on wake is a real issue for me.
How will I know that the components I wish to buy are on the newer stepping that eradicates that flaw?
Also is the flaw on the mobo or the cpu? Sorry for being a bit thick.
thanks in advance.
