USB Memory help

Have an usb stick that I keep all my work on and i just experienced the "was working a min ago but not anymore" syndrome. However, it wouldn't work on any other computer and all show the same msg "usb device has malfunctioned".

Now, do i declare it dead and do all the work again or is there some way of reviving it long enough just to extract the data before I kill it myself???

Same thing happened with me, but no way to retreive any data

Stick it in a couple of carrier bags (sealed) and pop it in the freezer for 20 mins, then try it. Not sure if it`ll work but it maybe worth trying. If its the actuall memory that has gone it may.
