USB Memory Sticks

Don't know if this is in the correct forum, it is storage though.

Anyways, USB sticks. Anyone have any probs with either the LaCie Carte Orange 6GB USB 2.0 Pocket Hard Drive (HD-022-LC) or the Corsair mem sticks ?

Are there certain manufacturers/models that are prone to problems with their memory sticks ?

that hard drive based one will be less reliable than a flash based drive. reason is the hard drive one has moving parts so it can suffer from mechanical wear and tear.

the corsair flash based drives are very quick and very reliable. would recommend them.

true but its 6 GB and a lot cheeper than flash, plus i only use them for transfering data (small ammounts) from pc to pc
