Usb mp3 player to flash ds3 bios?possible

Just wondering can i use my 256meg usb mp3 player to flash ds3 bios using q flash in the bios? also can i use said drive to install sata drivers during a windows
install instead of using a floppydrive (whatever that is)

I guess if it worked as a removable hdd without the need for drivers then possibly......never tried nor read about it so I have no idea

Not tried this one, but it did go through my mind for a short time...

I never considered it for more than a few minutes though?

I tried and failed dozens of times to install to a RAID array on the DS3 but it eventually got to me, and in the end I just intergrated the drivers into the CD.

Worked first time without any floppy, so that was great.

Worked so well that I re-done the disk and this time, I included all my drivers for all my Mobos and PCI cards and I have gone thought the lot and its worked perfectly every time with no need for a floppy.
