I have a problem whereby my new Epson multifunction thing will print, but will not scan - it reckons some communication error. This is also the same when trying to use HP scanner too so it's obviously something to do with my machine.
A few details:
XP SP2 fully patched up using Windows Update
USB 2.0 Ports - 1 x Enhanced Controller and 4 x Standard Controllers listed in DM
USB 2.0 Cable
I've even done the whole "update driver" thing that changed them from the generic types to the Intel ones (happened to me before), but still no worky... any ideas?
