USB Splitter Switch

Ok guys, I have two computers and I would like to only have one keyboard and mouse on my desk. Therefore, does anyone know of any product which is a usb splitter (i.e. 1 input 2 outputs) that has a switch that lets me choose the output. I only need one input as my mouse plugs into my keyboard.

You could try a USB KVM off this page - it will also switch your monitor over to the other machine if you need it to

That is pretty much what I am looking for but do you know of any for just usb rather than all the rest of the stuff (and, if possible cheaper)

Do you just need to control the other machine remotely e.g. is it a server?

If so you could try using something like logmein (www.logmein.com)

This is what I use to control my server which is sat right next to my main PC and allows me full control of it without having to mess around with connecting other cables up etc.

But will depnd on the use you need of the second computer.

Just buy a splitter and put it in the KVM switch with two moniter out of that. This won't support dual display (as in two different images).

I would rather do it directly because the two are right next to each other and I can't bare lag

Not sure if this is what i meant, i want to share 2 monitors as a dual-view desktop to 2 pc's ?
