USB to LAN RJ45 Ethernet Network Adapter?

I did a search with that thread title, looking for something i could use to connect a 2nd pc (no RJ45 socket) to my router (as a quick and temporary measure) and sure enough it came up with something. Has anyone else used one of these and found them ok?

Only time I have used one was in about 2001 when it was plugged into a Playstation 2 for some online game action. And got soundly spanked by some Japanese gamers.

So, yep they do work. I guess it would load your USB bus if you were transferring tons of data though.
