USB wireless dongle - Which one?

I need something cheap and effective to do me for a few weeks until I can route proper network cabling so my puppy doesn't chew it up in a matter of seconds.

I'm not fussed on max speed, 150mbps should be more than enough as max net speed here is 75mbps. Latency however, is crucial to me as I want to play OW and a few other online games. So stability and low latency are a must.

Any suggestions?

Does it have to be usb?

Could you go with lan wifi adapter like a zyxel wap3205 v3 (I've got v2 and it's more than good enough for gaming imo with 9ms pings to bbc.co.uk on 80/20 fttc), they seem to be going for around £30-40

I used a netgear AC1200 before i hard wired. Cannot fault it, bloody brilliant and went through two walls and a floor.

Came with a usb extension / stand, and an aerial flapped out from it, had triangular vent holes down the side.

Was quite cheap too.
