I've been holding off for some new x58s for quite some time (or potentially a P55, depends on the price), though if it takes too much longer looks like I'll be going P6T X58.

Dont actually need usb 3.0 or sata 6 (I thought they wherent calling it that?) but nor do I feel like paying, say, £250 for the R2E considering it's been out a year nearly.
 
Nice. Sata 6 cures my speculation about SSD standards over time :p I doubt you would really use USB 3 anyway tbh, make more sense to connect up external hardware like drives with eSata as its been out longer.

We wont see USB 3 around properly for a good while, just a fad at the moment! Just see it as a nice thing to upgrade to for your next build.
 
Not news. Also no sources listed.

The P55 boards were originally going to be released with these anyway, I'm a little hazy on where that went wrong. I'd get a pci-e card instead of a new board personally.
