Hi all,

I've recently bought an Intel Core2 Duo 6700 CPU with a Noctua NH-U12F fan, so this obviously leaves me with a stock 6700 CPU fan.

Can I use this on an AMD 64 4000+ or Pentium 4 3.2Ghz chip?

Thanks for your help.

Bob.

Welcome to the forums :)

You could probably bodge it onto something else, but the only thing it will properly fit onto is a 775 board.

claimed!

Put the fan on the end of some kind of stand, and use it to cool yourself when sitting at your PC during the hot summer months to come.. :D

PK!

lol - you could make some sort of battery-powered heatsink hat :p now that would be cool... *dreams of potential for water-cooled hats*
