Use windows 7 key to activate windows 10

There was supposedly a cut off point but I can't imagine MS ever enforcing it. This is because when you enter your key during setup, you're not even connected to the internet so it's always going to let you continue/finish so long as your key is valid. It would be unbelievably harsh of them to turn around later and deny you from activating and I've certainly never heard of anyone having issues doing that.

Just finished updates on w7 no other progs installed and it’s took 45.5 gig of space (seems a lot)

Will w10 take less space does anyone know?
