Hi,
I've just installed a WLAN card and the software that was installed with the card's drivers is active in my taskbar and tells me that windows is managing the adapter. This is fine although I'd rather just have one or the other running. The card's software seems quite basic but I have no experience of whether windows does a good job of managing things - is it generally better to let windows do the job? And if so, would uninstalling the card's software also remove the drivers as they were installed at the same time? Add/Remove Programs lists it as WLAN software so I presume its just the software.
