Use XDA wireless lan on PC?

I am currently without internet ( using my neighbours ) . He has a wireless router and said i can share his until NTL comes around. I have a laptop without wireless card, but I have an XDA IIi which has built in wireless. Is it at all possible to connect the XDA to the pc via the USB cradle and then use a wireless connection through the XDA to connect to the internet on the PC?

I'm sure there is a way but I cant seem to find anything?

Any ideas from anyone???

It's not possible, I have an XDA IIs and had the same idea and tried to hook my PC up through its wireless card to my router but it does not support that.

It does work as a dial up modem and connects at am amazing 9600bps! WOW

seems strange that this isn't possible... guess it doesn't make the network operators any money.... typical
