Not for me but girl at work.

She's looking to buy a used car without getting stung. I've read on here that Parkers et all are pretty poor and the Glass guide is what you should be looking at but AFAIK your average Joe on the street can't get hold of one. Are there any solutions or is there a commonly available one thats any good?

Thanks.

have a gander at what your after on autotrader, you'll get a good idea of what they go for there, highest prices for newer + low miles (obviously) unless you are after something rare, there is usually a good range of prices, year + milage + vehicle specs

Yeah she's been having a look at Autotrader and is starting to get an idea of what things cost. Problem is she doesn't know what she wants (so far possibles have been: A class, A2, Ibiza, Polo, Micra, Yaris, Golf, Fiesta, Focus, Bora, Picanto  ) so its hard keeping track of whats what.

Realistically she wants something no older and the same size as her Saxo but better screwed together for up to £5k max.
