Just wondered what opinion was on buying used hard-disks. Potentially seem considerably cheaper, which is good as budget rig i'm just trying to keep useable doesn't warrent much more.
But, how easily are they busted? Can they surivive much postage?
I see that many now come with lifetime warranties - better to spend ~£30 for a lifetime warrenty 80gb than £10 for larger older unwarrentied?
